For the Children

For the Children is dedicated to the children of the war-torn parts of the our world. When the grown-ups fight, the children suffer.

This piece was recorded at Sono Luminus, a recording studio that has recorded artists such as Anna Thorvaldsdottir, Peter Gregson, Bruno Bavota, Iceland Symphony Orchestra. Sono Luminus also recorded much of what is released on the Steinway & Sons label. Of specific interest for this recording, they have three Model D Steinways to choose from.

Originally entitled For Briana, and composed as a simple gift for Caleb’s wife Briana, this tune experienced the time-honored holiday tradition of regifting and appears here as For the Children. Look forward to an upcoming album of For the Children remixes coming out early 2024.
